Angela Pohl, D.O. graduated from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, IL. She has practiced hospital medicine, urgent care, and has been a primary care physician since 2015. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and has a special interest in preventative medicine.

Dr. Caitlin Schmidt, D.O is an ACOG Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She has worked at Northwoods Ob/Gyn since 2020 and practiced medicine since 2011. Dr. Caitlin Schmidt completed her Residency at Sparrow Hospital and was Chief Resident. She is a MSU Spartan graduating with a Bachelors in Nutritional Science.

Dr. Caitlin Schmidt has special interest in menopausal care, preventative medicine and achieving optimal women’s health. Her goal is to offer compassionate care with a holistic approach. She is married and has 3 children. Her family enjoys the outdoors, swimming and spending time with family and friends.

Anne Zwart is a Michigan native and earned her undergraduate degree from Alma College, after which she attended Central Michigan University for her PA-C degree. She worked as a hospitalist at Munson for 7 years prior to stepping into her role at Traverse Bay Internal Medicine. Anne is married to her favorite pharmacist and enjoys paddleboarding, running, skiing, traveling, reading, and chasing around her son. It’s a privilege to be involved in your medical care. Amanda Gross, PA-C graduated from Central Michigan University with her Bachelor of Science in 2016 and obtained her Masters of Science/PA-C from the University of Toledo in 2018. She moved to Traverse City with her husband in 2018. She practiced as a hospitalist at Munson Medical Center for 4 years before joining TBIM. Amanda enjoys all aspects of internal medicine with a special interest in preventative care. She is looking forward to building lifelong relationships with patients. She enjoys the outdoors of northern Michigan with her family and dog in her spare time.

Rikki Getz, PA-C graduated from University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in 2006. In 2008 she obtained her Masters from Midwestern University & PA certification. She practiced as a cardiology PA for 3 years & a hospitalist PA for 12 years before deciding to make the transition to primary care. Her main focus is on building an honest & open relationship with her patients in order to provide the best preventative medicine possible.
